I’m an educator, product leader, and mom who helps families and schools raise AI-literate kids—using AI as a thinking partner, not a shortcut. After nearly 20 years across K–12 classrooms, university leadership, and developer education, I founded Three Prisms to turn big ideas into practical habits at home and in classrooms.

What I do now: Through my Beta Parenting with AI blog, I publish my own experiences with AI with my family. I design ready-to-use tools—like the Family AI Game Plan, the Two-Question Test, and traffic-light rules. I also lead workshops across communities:

  • Family AI Nights and Beta Parenting for AI talks for parents and caregivers,

  • Family-School-AI workshops for districts and schools to offer to families, and

  • Kids/Teens mini-workshops that build research, study, and creativity skills with AI while protecting authentic youth voices.

I draw on 20 years in K–12, higher ed, and developer education to design learning that works. With a PhD in Curriculum & Teacher Education (Stanford), I translate research into practical routines and family tools. My Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Biology (Duke) grounds me in classroom pedagogy, and my BA in Biology (Middlebury) fuels my inquiry-driven, evidence-first approach. I’ve taught students, coached teachers, built district-scale programs, and productized learning for global audiences. And as a parent of two, everything I teach is tested at home.

Let’s learn AI during this revolution in learning — together.
