At this moment in time, we are all in a world that none of us have known before. It is forcing us to take on new roles, build new skills, and really, to be novices again. At a time when many of us felt that we knew a lot because of our ages and experiences, we make the voluntary choice to become a novice. It isn’t forced on us.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not voluntarily made the choice to take on new roles and be novices. So, we’ve cried, we’ve screamed, we’ve complained, we’ve read books, we’ve watched videos - we’ve tried to find control in this uncertain time. There are no right answers for how to do things right now. And that is ok. What we need is a community and resources to help us do the best we can with what we have.
Does that sound like something you need? If so, I am here to help. I’m here to be a resource and a curator of resources for you about how to best support and collaborate with your child(ren) in their new remote and hybrid learning worlds.
Reach out for additional personalized guidance about supporting your child(ren)’s remote/hybrid learning or homeschooling.
